A San franscisco cop Frank Bullit is given the task of guarding a Mafia informant, but a leak in the department leads to his firend and the witness being the subject of an attempted hit by two hit men.

With a politician trying to ruin him, Bullit pursues the hit men and makes a stunning discovery along the way.

Definitely one of the best car chases of all time.
