When a young lad notices a beaten up 1958 Plymouth Fury on his way hom from school he is immediately taken by the car and spends his summer savings to buy her. He soon learns that her name is Christine and as time goes on with the rebuild of the cr, Arnies attitude changes becoming mean and cocky.

Christine is turning him into the same man that once owned her from new. But can Arnies friend destroy the car without destroying Arnie?
