How to create you page
- To create your own page you need to register your details with us. This is done quickly and easily by following the steps detailed under "How to join" - Don't put it off - Set up your account and create your page today!
- Once registered your login will give you access to your home page. Don’t forget your login and password, you will need to use them when editing your home page.
- Once you have logged in your home page will show several tabs across the top - "View", "Edit" and "User Page" etc. Select the "User Page" tab to get started on your own page.
- You must give your user page a title (usually the vehicle type) – you can edit your page as often and as many times as you want after its initial creation by clicking on the "Edit" tab - (this includes updating images).
- Below the title box are the image upload boxes. You can upload up to 6 images of your ride – but each home page has a memory limit so you must make sure they are re-sized to 1024 x 768 or less before you try to upload. Starting with image 1 click the browse button and locate the images on your computer. When you have selected the image you want (don’t forget to re-size the image to within limits) simply click the upload button and the image will appear on your edit page in the image 1 section. Repeat the process for all 6 images.
NOTE IMAGES MUST BE NO LARGER THAN 1024 X 768 PIXELS IN DIMENSIONS. TO RESIZE YOUR IMAGES USE PHOTO EDITING SOFTWARE SUCH AS PICASA WHICH IS AVAILABLE FREE FROM GOOGLE: http://picasa.google.com/ - The next box is the "Showground", select "Visit the showground" from the drop down list. Next enter your vehicle details; make, model year etc in the specification boxes provided.
- Use the "Text" box to tell us about your ride! How long have you had it, how did you find it, what have you done to it, tell your story.
- Finally and most importantly - Click the submit button and your home page will appear!
When you are logged you have greater access on the site that allows you to comment on blogs and articles, vote, place posts in the forum and contact other users etc.
P.S. Don't forget to log out when your done (bottom right)
