Classic & "Must See" Movies

The Fast and Furious franchise has gone from strength to strength using that always popular mix of suped up cars and girls, and the latest offering doesn't disapoint.

This film provides something for all car enthusiasts with the spectrum of cars used for the movie including Muscle Cars, Tuners and Exotics, with the well known Camaro "Big Red" also making an appearance.

It also sees the re-introduction of Vin Diesel as "Dominic Toretto" and his association with Paul Walker as "Brian O'Conner" and despite the now lack of trust between them, they must work together if they are to win against an shared enemy. Fuel heists, border crossings, desert runs and convoys through tunnels they push the limits once again.

directed by Clint EastwoodWell I never expected to see the car too much and I was right in my expectation level. That said it is a great film, with all that you'd expect from Eastwood.

With elements more associated with "Dirty Harry" he plays a recently widowed and bad tempered Korean War Veteran, who takes exception to the attempted theft of his much cared for Torino by the boy next door as part of his initiation into a local gang.

I won't divulge any more of the plot, but this film is well worth a look for Eastwood fans who will love the dry sense of humour and the political incorrectness.

Dukes of Hazzard

I don't need to tell you the plot - their names Duke, they drive an Orange Charger and like to jump it on a regular basis. With the number of TV episodes and various Dukes of Hazzard films, I hate to think of the number of Chargers that have given their lives for the name of Duke.

Put the carnage aside and you can't help but enjoy seeing and hearing the charger at full bore!

Starsky and Hutch

Based on the 70's TV series, this is the amusing story of Starsky (always by the book) and Hutch (dodgy, robs bookies etc) and how they became partners. With the help of their informant Huggy Bear they bring down a drug dealer and solve their first big case.

The striped tomato makes plenty of appearances with some more painful than others!

Set in Miami, Brian O'Conner is forced to work undercover with his friend for the police who want to bring a crime boss to justice.

To gain his trust they have to compete against other street racers to prove the have the right credentials. As the plot unfolds they challenge two of the street racers to a drag for pink slips. Brian and his friend win the race and in doing so a Camaro and Dodge Challenger.

They drive for there lives, get the bad guy and kill two beautiful cars in the process.

A convicted street racer is to start a new life in Japan. His passion for cars and speed soon brings him into contact with the Japanese underworld.

It's mainly turbos, dump valves an drifting but there is a Mustang towards the end that beets a Nissan 350!

A San franscisco cop Frank Bullit is given the task of guarding a Mafia informant, but a leak in the department leads to his firend and the witness being the subject of an attempted hit by two hit men.

Two car nuts take a 55 Chevy accross the U.S looking for other cars to race. There is little conversation between the two of them unless it is car related. Along the way a girl tags along and they meet GTO a middle aged man who is good with tall stories and they race to Washington for pink slips.
